Week 6 of the EuroTour definitely delivered the goods, with San Sebastian turning on a fun, challenging and highly entertaining 12km race around this scenic seaside city that tested the competitors through a mix of flat water, waves and open ocean bumps.
The men’s showdown was once again an ocean battle between Paddle League ratings leader Michael Booth and number two seed Titouan Puyo, while the women’s event saw something of an upset as Sonni Honscheid accepted her first defeat of the season at the hands of Olivia Piana. → READ MORE

Another great EuroTour highlights reel has just hit Facebook following the big contest on Crete, aka the 2nd Annual “Agios Nikolaos on SUP” event. More to come next week as the European Summer of SUP hits Spain for the Costa Blanca SUP Games near the city of Alicante.
The French have taken charge of the EuroTour Leaderboard after the first month of competition, with Amandine, Olivia, Titou and Arthur holding down the top spots. But can the boys hold off Boothy’s charge? Find out as we head to Spain for week 5 and the Costa Blanca SUP Games…
Rapid fire recap: Aussie powerhouse Michael Booth has opened his EuroTour campaign with a big win at the Agios Nikolaos on SUP event in the Greek Islands, outlasting French superstar Titouan Puyo and Brazilian workhorse Vinni Martins to claim week 4 of the European summer.
It was an all-French affair in the women’s race, however the standard tables were turned as Amandine Chazot took a great victory ahead of her higher-ranked compatriot Olivia Piana. German youngster Noelani Sach was once again impressive in the bumps en route to her second straight EuroTour podium.

French stars Titouan Puyo and Olivia Piana have saluted at home after winning Saturday’s part-downwind, part-sidewind “Vendée Gliss Event” on the country’s west coast as the European Summer of SUP starts to heat up.
Olivia was too strong for fellow Frenchwoman Amandine Chazot and downwind surprise packet Noelani Sach from Germany, with the latter upsetting more seasoned veterans to record her second career EuroTour podium and no doubt strongest ever result. → READ MORE

In brief: German dark horse Paul Ganse has taken the biggest win of his career after out-smarting a stack of big names in Belgium during the second week of the EuroTour.
Ganse, compatriot Norm Weber and Latvia’s canoe cross-over athlete Arvis Iljins all took a different line towards the end of the flat water race, which was held on a river that offered up some strategic currents on opposite banks, which saw them overtake the front pack in the final metres. → READ MORE
In brief: Arthur Arutkin has outlasted a collection of Europe’s finest athletes to claim week one of the 2018 EuroTour on the Dutch coast. The Frenchman was too good for the Danish Viking in the long-running “Battle of the Coast” race, while the EuroTour’s winningest athlete Leo Nika rounded out the podium ahead of French name-to-watch Tom Auber and the junior Nika brother, Leo.
In the women’s it was the under-rated Spaniard-turned-Tuscan local Susak Molinero who saluted ahead of Holland’s leading duo of Petronella van Malsen and Emma Reijmerink. → READ MORE
