[RESULTS] Eric Terrien Wins Stand Up World Series France

Eric Terrien has won the Long Distance race at the La Torche (France) leg of the Stand Up World Series.

Young gun Kai Lenny led at the start, but Terrien made his move in the back half of the race to secure a sweet victory in his home country. Team France announced for ISA World SUP Championship

France has just announced their team for next month’s ISA World Champs.

Well known paddlers Eric Terrien and Gaétan Séné will be competing in both races (surf race + long distance), though unfortunately the French won’t have anyone on the women’s side.

Eric Terrien has proven to be the #1 paddler in Europe and recently ranked in our best stand up paddlers of the year list.

Gaétan Séné isn’t far behind, with some impressive results of his own last year (including a 1st in the BoP California Long Distance stock class).   → READ MORE

[RESULTS] 2011 Battle of the Paddle California LONG DISTANCE

All the results from the Battle of the Paddle, California, Long Distance race, where Danny Ching picked scored another victory. Not far behind, Rob Rojas proved once again he’s one of the fastest paddlers.

Jamie Mitchell and Travis Grant’s battle for third went down to the wire, while Chase Kosterlitz claimed his second major 14′ victory in seven days. Candice Appleby, Suzy Strazzula and Angie Jackson were victorious in the women’s divisions.   → READ MORE
