Hal Rosoff ClassicIn brief: Chase Kosterlitz and Danny Ching have earned victories at the Hal Rosoff Classic in Newport Beach, California, as over 150 paddlers came out for the 20th annual edition of this SoCal stalwart event. Other standout performers included Danny’s 404 team mate Ryland Hart, Chuck Glynn and Anthony Vela.

In the women’s, Shae Foudy made it a double win, taking out both the ‘Board Race’ and ‘Short Course’ events, with her SoCal sparring partner and definite name to watch, Erika Benitez, picking up a pair of silvers.   → READ MORE

RESULTS: Hal Rosoff Classic At The Newport Aquatic Center

Hal Rosoff Classic stand up paddle raceFull results from today’s Hal Rosoff Classic at the Newport Aquatic Center in California.

The 5.5 mile (9km) Short Course race was won by Thomas Maximus on his unlimited, with Daniel Russell narrowly edging out Chance Fielder to claim the 14′ division. Chuck Glynn was 5th over the line but the fastest of the 12’6 paddlers.

[RESULTS] 2012 Hal Rosoff Classic SUP Race (UPDATED)

Early results are in from the 2012 Hal Rosoff Classic, held Saturday 12th Feb @ the Newport Aquatic Center in California.

Danny Ching took out the overall race on his unlimited board, ahead of Jim Terrell and Thomas Maximus. While Karl Ring, Kristin Thomas and Suzy Strazzulla also had wins.   → READ MORE
