Jamie Mitchell is set to host a Stand Up Paddle clinic in Monaco next month after receiving a personal invitation from the principality’s royal family.

The event will be presented by the newly formed Princess Charlene Foundation and is scheduled for the 25th of August. The 10x World Champ and one of his Surftech team-mates will be flown in to give a special SUP master-class on some of the world’s most famous beaches.

For those of you who skipped geography in high school; the Principality of Monaco is that tiny, rich, luxurious city state nestled between France and Italy on the Mediterranean. Monaco is better known for its fancy casino and glitzy annual Formula One race, but the area also has some of the most picture-perfect beaches and coastline in the world.

This is big news for Stand Up Paddling… to host a SUP clinic in a place as iconic as Monaco is one thing; to be personally invited by one of the world’s most well known royal families is another.
