In exactly one month from today, I’ll be standing on the water in the Dutch town of Leeuwarden, enjoying my final few moments of normality before the horn blows to signal the beginning of the world’s longest stand up paddle race. Lina Augaitis and Branislav Sramek won yesterday’s SUPer Surfers Challenge in the beautiful town of Poreč, Croatia. Lina took the win ahead of rising star Manca Notar to continue her Euro Tour winning streak. The SIC team rider was unstoppable at last week’s big Lost Mills race in Germany as she continues to assert herself as one of the fastest flat water paddlers in the world. → READ MORE
The world’s longest stand up paddle race, the SUP 11 City Tour, has just wrapped up in Netherlands. From the 4th to 8th of September competitors paddled over 200kms in five separate stages, Tour de France-style, making it one of the hardest races in the world of SUP racing.
The race is now over and it was Peter Bartl (Austria) and Marie Buchanan (UK) who are the new SUP 11 City Tour champions.
